Dr. Angelos Sourial, Principal Dentist.
Dr. Angelos Sourial received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Distinction from the University of Otago, New Zealand, in 2004. He has practised comprehensive family and cosmetic dentistry in Melbourne since 2006.
While most Dentists are required to receive 20 hours of continuing education each year, Dr. Sourial seeks more than double that. The extra hours allow him to stay up to date on the latest technology and trends in the field of dentistry. In 2010, he also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Implants) at the University of Melbourne and has recently been appointed President of the Victorian Branch of the Australasian Osseointegration Society.

Dr. Sourial enjoys combining his love for science, as well as his passion for art and working with his hands, to fulfil people’s lives by enhancing their smiles. Whether it’s someone who simply needs to eat comfortably again or is too embarrassed to smile, the difference he makes to people’s lives brings him joy and fulfilment each and every day.
Apart from dental implants, Dr. Sourial has a keen interest in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry and has completed dozens of smile makeover cases with great success. He also enjoys Orthodontics and has treated several patients using Invisalign invisible aligners to straighten their teeth.
Outside of the Practice
Outside of the practice, Dr. Sourial has taught undergraduate students at the Melbourne Dental School. He has also been involved in several dental research projects in both Australia and New Zealand, including a current large-scale eviDent project on implant complications being performed in conjunction with the Australian Dental Association.
Dr. Sourial and his family are very active in working with children in their Preston church. He and other members of our dental practice are also engaged in the National Dental Foundation charity to provide free dentistry to the underprivileged in society, as well as also supporting the Moira Kelly Creating Hope Foundation.
