Dear Patients, Family and Friends
We hope you are all well.
Consistent with the latest Department of Health recommendations, we can offer care for emergency or urgent dental care only.
If you are in pain, have a dental concern or are if you are unsure whether your situation meets the criteria, please call us on (03) 9380 1204, so that we can assess and advise you accordingly.
We will continue to screen patients for COVID-19 exposure prior to attending our Practice. If you are experiencing any illness or have been to an exposure site then we will ask you to reschedule to keep everyone healthy. We ask that you keep up to date with the latest exposure sites here.
We ask that all patients please use the contactless check-in (QR code) upon arrival, always wear a mask, socially distance when at the Practice and use the hand sanitiser provided.
We will continue, as we have always done, to maintain the highest standards of infection control and COVID-19 safe practices, as per our COVIDSafe Plan including:
all of our clinical equipment is either single use or medically sterilised;
a deep clean of clinical rooms in between each patient visit;
full environmental cleaning of all surfaces at the Practice;
all of our clinical team wear enhanced PPE (gloves, masks, face shields and gowns) and non-clinical team wearing face-masks at all times;
requiring everyone to always maintain social distancing when moving through the practice;
requiring everyone to perform hand hygiene at every opportunity;
administering a pre-procedural mouth rinse to all patients to decrease microbial load in the mouth;
reducing aerosol by using rubber dam and high volume suction when appropriate;
screening all of our team before they attend the workplace;
conducting virtual consults wherever appropriate; and
continuing to closely monitor Department of Health guidelines and updating our safety practices in real time.
